There’s a NEW group in town: The Tale Travelers!

Well, NEWS FLASH!  Cliff Hicks and I have liked each others’ stories so much that we have teamed up as the Tale Travelers!  We are both excited about this association and hope to be appearing together once and a while. Look for us at the Prescott Folk Festival!  Cliff is a native Arizonan (truly native because his father was Apache), and tells wonderful tales of his childhood. If you ever have a chance, make sure to hear his “Sear’s and Roebuck Christmas.”  I will be telling “A Soldier’s Secret” during this time with Cliff. It is a true story of a Civil War soldier who carried many secrets as a spy but also some very sensitive personal secrets.  Come and enjoy!

A Home

A house is made of walls and beams…

A home is made of love and dreams

I am in the process of making a new home and enjoying it.

Barb and I have been shopping for floor tile, paint, doors and more.

The contractors have been frustrating but soon we will have our new home.

Finding this home, the Realtor, the home inspector, finding the contractor to make the improvements and even the homeowners insurance agent –  all led by Spirit and each one intuitive / spiritual.

Proof just trust in Spirit and let them lead the way !

Think Positive

Look at it this way:

Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.

If you know who you are, if you are comfortable in your own skin, if you love how your Creator created you, if you’re happy just being you, if you wouldn’t want anything in the world but to be you, if you can’t imagine being anybody but you … then you will transcend the need to “think positive.” You will move beyond reminding yourself to “think positive.” You won’t need to avoid negative news, negative talk or negative e-mails. And your outlook will be authentically and automatically positive.

You will know how you being you will prevail — no matter what happens. And that, in itself, will make you positive — no matter how much negative news or negative talk there is around you.

Purple Mist

PURPLE MIST

I was mesmerized by this story. In the story I begin to notice a light and an energy outside my home that looks like a purple haze. I mention it to my husband, Joe, who does not see it. I eventually step outside, into this light. It is amazing and feels wonderful. Joe does not see it. He begins to think that this is crazy. One day there is a knock at the door. Someone has come over to see the “purple haze” and soon many others follow.

Eleven of us eventually gather at my home. Joe thinks we’re all crazy and leaves. We are becoming transformed by this beautiful light and energy. What was so amazing about this story is that those who do not resonate energetically anymore simply leave. Although I do not have a husband, Joe represents the people who no longer are a good fit for me, so to speak. In actuality, a number of people have dropped out of my life in the somewhat recent past. My dream is to have a lovely group of people, a community, that I am connected to in the most beautiful way. The amazing thing is that this is what was created in the story!!

Women’s Friendships Vital to Our Health

A landmark UCLA study suggests friendships between women are special. They shape who we are and who we are yet to be. They soothe our tumultuous inner world, fill the emotional gaps in our marriage, and help us remember who we really are.

By the way, they may do even more. Scientists now suspect that hanging out with our friends can actually counteract the kind of stomach-quivering stress most of us experience on a daily basis. A landmark UCLA study suggests that women respond to stress with a cascade of brain chemicals that cause us to make and maintain friendships with other women. It’s a stunning find that has turned five decades of stress research–most of it on men–upside down.
